Beautiful Log Cabin! Works beautifully with scrappy! I am experiencing a serious case of envy!!! I would love to make a log cabin, but I am so disorganized and color challenged I am afraid I would make a total mess of it. :-(

Grab a bunch of different fabric, squint at them together and if they kind of look the same in terms of brightness (lights, mediums or darks), you can make a scrappy! Best way is to jump right in - maybe start with a small quilt! They don't always turn out perfectly but give it a try! I "organize" my "scrappiness" - meaning that I don't put a bunch of the same types of colors together - I scatter them around to keep the quilt balanced. I think most of you know what I mean!!

Just give it a try - it's only fabric and time (ha-ha!).
