Beaded Curtain Finished for Wedding Gift

Finally finished this Jacquie Gering Beaded Curtain quilt for my cousin's daughter wedding. I found the pattern in Quilty Magazine ( sure going to miss that magazine , I love most of the patterns even though I consider myself an intermediate quilter) I am a little slow since they were married in the fall and I just finished it , but it is under a year so I guess I am still in good wedding gift etiquette LOL . I used batiks for the beads with a muslin background and a taupe woodgrain fabric with a applique and reverse applique panel for the back. I used my machine to do lazy S channel quilting and I like the way it turned out. I would do it again for another modern quilt. I also made enough batik rectangle pieces that I almost have enough for a 2nd quilt. Maybe a throw. Thanks for looking!!!

One of the nicest Modern Quilts I have seen. I think you did a great job.

Very nice. I love the pattern and colors! Now, you should make yourself one out of the leftovers.

It's beautiful and you have crafted it perfectly. You should be very proud of this.....and they will love it to bits.
