    Default Stuffed Fabric Boxes

Dh and I belong to a Model "A" car club and last night we had a silent auction. I made 3 fabric boxes and stuffed 2 with homemade biscotti and the other box with homemade sunflower seed bread. I put a reserve on each one and they sold for much higher. Great for using up scraps. The buttons make the box (they cost more than the scraps). I also made about 5 lbs. of biscotti for refreshments which were gone in about 5 minutes. I painted the paper mache box about 20 yrs ago. These boxes are so much fun to make and they are a hit no matter what you stuff them with. I'll be making lots for the holidays. They make great hostess gifts when you drop in to visit friends. I taught my quilting group how to make them today.

I love your fabric boxes, and am not surprised they sold for a max amount, especially filled with such delicious looking goodies! I don't see the paper mache box you mentioned?..........I see it now! I thought that was a cookie tin, but wow, what a pretty box, and what lovely painting!

I vote that you consider a tute on making these boxes! Perfect for gift giving and the holidays throughout the year.
