What a great way to use hexes! And that teardrop boarder around the center basket is a show stopper. This is beautiful!

Lovely tops! Are the hexes appliquéd to the center medallion or were they pieced in?

They are pieced in, I've made them bij hand on te friday bee ;-) ,thanks for your compliment

Wow that medallion hexi quilt is a real show stopper. Love how you framed the center in an oval shaped vine and leaf applique, really stunning. The other quilt hanging up looks like an interesting variation on the pattern I know by the name "hearts and gizzards". I happen to be working on one myself but looks to be slightly different from yours.
