I have a client who has me create a Sunbonnet for each of her girls every 3 years with the clothing they wore during the 3 years prior. This is the picture of the first two. Embellishment, especially the hat rims, are buttons, bows, ruffles, etc., that were taken from the outfits. One little girl got a pink bordered one and the other little girl got the lavender bordered one. The second photo is from a client who lost her husband last year. Sunbonnet Sues and Fisherman Freds are appliqued out of his shirts with embellishments in the hat rims.

What a cute idea. The kids will remember those fabrics and hopefully it will bring back great memories. Thank you for showing them to us
