Just saw your Bento Box quilt, which is nicer than the one shown on the pattern. Just love your batik choices! Looks like an entirely different quilt and I will consider making a large one now.

Hope you and all in your family in Japan are OK. Do keep us informed.

Great job Sue... I cannot believe you hand quilted all of that (wow) they will cherish this quilt for their wedding gift for many years. Lot's of love went into that one.

Dear Friend...I hope your family is safe and sound if they were in Japan when the quake hit. Your quilt is beautiful. I just chose that very one for BOM for our quilt guild. I hope our lucky winner of the many blocks is able to make a quilt to equal the lovely one you made. I think the Bento Box is the perfect block for showcasing some lovely quilting...as you have done or gives one the opportunity to practice fmq. Thanks for showing this to us. I have written the ladies in my guild and given them the link to your quilt photo. Best Wishes to the bride and groom.
