No they weren't hard. I paper pieced them. Just time consuming. It took me 6 months to do. The longest part about this was waiting for the fabric and material to come in since 95% of it came from each country they represent.

Great job PPing. That pattern isn't as hard as it looks is it?

Fabric from around the world? Geesh, that must have cost alot.

What is the name of the star? Seems I've seen this before? (UGHmmm, Sr. moment. )

I'd like to make just one star like that (to see if I can do it).

Piecing it wasn't hard at all. Quite easy I think. And yes fabric from around the world. Not every country had fabric so I improvised. Fabric from italy was this woven stuff and I didn't like it. So I found upholstery fabric and I Loved it! Paris,England Scotland, Croatia, Turkey, Africa( african baby quilt that was made out of potato sack material) and I could go on and on.It was easy to decide what to do I just needed a theme. I spent about $250.00 give or take a few. Most of the material from other countries was bought on Ebay coming from that country. Some were from stores in that country as well. This was for their shower gift. My nephew was the first in the family to get married so I wanted it to be good!
