Here is the first BIG BLOCK quilt I did, and as you can see it looks like a first timer.....lol This quilt was so easy and quick....if you are looking for a quick gift to make, this is it...and it is so cute..... I have only made 2 of these so far...the 2nd one was in 2 different blues and it was beautiful..wish I had a picture of that one to show.....I gave it to my aunt....I plan on making some more... has anyone every made one of these before????

how pretty is that?! Where is the pattern from. I'd love to do one for a quilting group I am in for a birthday gift. What size is it?

The whole quilt measures about 72" x 72" give or take an inch or two...lol
anyway, the star blocks are made from 15" blocks cut in half and sewed together...and you just go from there....real simple project...really cute...glad you like it....

i seen this pattern along time ago in a "Quilt" mag, for big and quick blocks.....I have used this pattern to make smaller ones and it comes out just as cute as the big one....I plan on making some more big ones soon...I always make these plans to make more and more and you know how that is....lol :lol: always got some other project going....
