Very cute and ingenious. Using your little birdie made those of us who aren't artists think that maybe we can do it too. Your blocks are perfect and definitely convey enough info for the family to recognize each subject matter. Just love it!

What a fantastic project...and now a keepsake for your family. It was fun to look at all of your blocks. Love the scrappiness of the 2 1/2” squares and the appliqué floral border. You certainly outdid yourself.

Can you see the pins, needle and scissors on my T-shirt? I am notorious for finding pins on the floor and picking them up and poking them in my shirt until I find my pin cushion. And, my shirt is where I park my needle from hand sewing along with my tiny scissors on a retractable cord on a clip that I bought at Orvis Sporting 20 years ago. Now that I have grands around every day, they stop me at the welcome hugs, claiming "danger, Meme", "sharp pokies". So now I have to remove my "jewelry" when they visit. LOL

This is the cutest quilt ever! Did you use stablizer on the back of every little piece? Your work is lovely.
