Love this one. GREAT design, and IMHO, you can't go wrong with black, white ,grey and red.

It is now ready for the quilter. Please don't look too closely (you'll see alot of mistakes). This is my fourth quilt so I am still learning (I need to take some classes). They say the quilting will help hide the mistakes. I sure hope she's good. lol
A lady that I know once told me, after I was going nutso after seeing more mistakes than I thought I had, that quilting is very forgiving on a quilt. She was right. I couldn't find the mistakes. I always use the Medium Meander pattern. Looks rich, is not expensive and for using the quilt it holds it all together just beautifully. But I loved the way she said "forgiving"!

It is going to be beautiful and I am sure your son and daughter in law will just love it! Congrats to you and to your son!

It's beautiful and your son will love it. Mistakes... let me tell you about mistakes. One of the first classes I took, a gal told us about the "3 foot" rule. If you can't see mistakes from 3 feet away, they don't exist. I love it, and use that as a guide line all the time! We are our own worst critics!! Just revel in the joy of completing something fabulous!
