I love the layout called Positive/Negative and did that for my log cabin. I posted a pic bk in sept of it but dont know if it is searchable or not on new board. There are SO many ways to lay them out!! Have fun!!

I love the black and white theme!! When I was making my log cabin, I googled log cabin quilts, and found a site that had several different layouts:

I am working on some blocks now and was thinking that I would do an off center round the world that I was going to suggest. But looking at some of the sites provided by the others, I really like the whirlygig one. Had not seen that before.
