Thanks for the great ideas, everyone. A friend's daughter is expecting, and she is sort of a modern person. So I plan to make a B&W quilt with pops of color here and there for the baby. This gives me ideas!

Here is my Black, White, Red. I named it shattered. It was done several years ago and I haven't looked at the picture for awhile and I may have to make another one from this pattern - if I can remember what I did. Ha!

I have been building up my B&W fabrics for a couple years now getting ready to do another. I did one years ago called Black, White and Bright. I loved that quilt and gave it away. I have always though to do another. I am thinking after seeing these and many others it is close to the time to get myself going.. Seems I want to get ahead of myself again.

Very creative use of black and white, with pops of color that spice up your designs.

I made Bonnie Hunter's Pineapple Blossom in a controlled scrappy red, black/grey and white for a wedding gift. I think it came out better than I expected. Love Bonnie's patterns. Its also the 1st time I used a contrasting quilt thread to quilt the top. The backing is black and I used a red thread throughout. That was the start of using colored threads for quilting for me. Prior to that I used mostly just white or off white. I also used up all the cutoffs along the border too so very little scraps leftover for this quilt.

Snooze! I thought the top was great until I saw the back. Way to go!

Thanks everyone for sharing. I've been using and giving away these B&W scraps I have left and thought I was out of ideas...
