Default Black and white and red all over? EASY quilt!

Fabrics - started with a Missouri Quilt Co Deal of the Day - a 30-piece layer cake of Vivaldi. Added the jelly roll of the same line and the backing fabric of one of them.

Pattern - searched for "layer cake and jelly roll" and found it. Basically you cut the layer cake in half and put strips on each side. You did trim it down - maybe 8.5"? - to make it square. Alternate block directions and you've got it.

Borders - none. This may be my first borderless quilt, but it works.

Binding - backing brought over

Quilted - FMQ on my domestic machine. It's definately a beginner job, but only you know and I know you won't tell!

testing pics to see if they attach small again - you can click on them to make them larger, but I haven't had them do this before.

I love the fabrics you chose. I also like it without a border. It seems to speak clearly without one!! Thanks for sharing.

That is just a great color combination. That backing fabric is awesome. Most people don't know the difference between a beginners quilting and an experienced quilter's. They look at the overall beauty of the quilt. And this sure is beautiful

I have never had to click on the small picture to make it bigger before either. That just started happening yesterday. What gives?
