Karla,
Your quilt looks so carefree! Well, done!! You are absolutely right. This is a very fun method to build a quilt. You're never real sure how it's going to finish. Surprises abound!
Spectacular job!

This was fun one. :D
Oh my goodness Karla, this is a wonderful quilt! I absolutely love it!! What is the book, please? I am going to have to buy it and make a quilt like that for myself. (Great, I can see everything I'm working on heading straight to the UFO pile. )

Tiffany--here's a link to the book on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Magical-Four-P...9729051&sr=8-3

And here's Yvonne's quilt: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/15/14992.page

The book has only small projects-more wall hanging size. Yvonne explained to me it's a technique, not a pattern. I made way more stuff than just 4 and 9 patches--and I made a great variety of sizes. That made it tricky to get together--but that was part of the fun.

I recently found another book with a similar technique...but I can't find the book I saw it... I'll PM you if I come across it again. Yvonne--do you still have the email where I sent the title to you?
