Default block quilt

I am making a block quilt with batiks for my friends daughter to give to her son. I drew out two blocks with five inch centers. no pattern. hoping to make piano key border but not sure will have enough fabrics. i have about 15 blocks made already, they are 10 inches.

That is going to turn out really well. Love your colors and the simple design. A real winner :-)

almost done. row five and six sewn together. with "coin" strip next to row five. I decided not to do a piano key border. just put the strips into the quilt for a bit of interest. photo soon.
