Default Blocks for owlvamp

Owlvamp (quiltingboard member) is in need of pillowcases, quilts, and I spy blocks for a Christmas project for children that are in need. My skills are very limited at this point but I thought what a better way to practice than to make quilt blocks. I have a neighbor that generously gifted me her entire stash as her vision has deteriorated. So I purchased a few newer pieces of fabric and pulled out some from my neighbor's stash and got busy. I'm sending owlvamp a little over 30 quilt blocks. Here are a few.

Good for you. I had the same fabric as the last picture and used it in a chevron baby quilt.

Thanks! I had so much fun doing them. I have a list of projects a mile long and have been having so much fun with these little blocks that I've am a little bit behind. Gotta get busy. Christmas open house at the antique store is next weekend. God-daughter's baby shower is the weekend after that and that requires 2 blankets - one for baby and one for his big sister's doll. Cousin's step daughter had a baby this week - he needs a blanket as well. And then I have a wall-hanging to make for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Hmmm - have I bitten off more than I chew?
