What a striking pattern - looks dimensional. What a great birthday gift. Thanks for sharing.

She doesn't quilt, but she appreciates art so she understands the work that goes into things. She also told me to get her old sewing machine and sell it. I told her I would keep it.

It is an OLD White cabinet machine (electric) all the attachments, screwdrivers, and even the original oil can are still with it. I'm not sure if we have room to pick it up this trip, but when I do I will def post pics. Gonna stop in St. Louis on the way thru and look at it though.

I'm gonna do some searching here and on the web to find some info on it. There is a janome dealer in Macomb and he can fix ANYTHING and at super reasonable prices, so I will take it to him to give it a good once over when I get it.
Just getting to this one. Love, love the Blue Betty. What an interesting color combo. Love it. the whites are strategically placed and are well balanced (no, I'm NOT the quilt police, but since the white was mentioned, I thought I'd say IMO, I think it looks nice).

You mentioned acquiring an old White machine. I don't know how old it is, but I have a White (no cabinet, just a carrying case) which I got in the mid eighties. It's all metal and heavy as can be, but it has served me very well. It was my first zigzag machine -- and I zigzagged everything! My Singer dealer services my White, my Janome, and my New Home.

Pretty pretty. I love the 3-D affect it has.

Is it just me or is this kind of an optical illusion? It looks like it is in 3d.

Very cool!!
You did a great job on it!

Yup. It does mess with your eyes a little. Lol. Especially in real life when you're tired! :)

Thanks everyone!
