no I didn't use flannel or batting in the middle.

spectacular! I love it! It even appears to have a pattern within the pattern, like a diamond in the middle by choice of fabrics. Very impressive!
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

Very pretty, good use of old blue jeans and flannel shirts. Did you enjoy making it? I made one and swore I wouldn't do another.

Very attractive!
How much do you think it weighs???
Might I ask ... are the orange peel parts raw-edged? Or did you do the circle thing and turn?
(I vaguely remember the pattern <g>) this is the first time I actually considered making one!
(At the Post I am known as the Denim Lady - -if I don't own rolls of the stuff, I accept donations <g>)

Olivia's Gramy -- Yes I did make the same comment. something like "this is the only one of these I will do" ...lol
I did enjoy making it, but sewing the rows together was a little tricky. lol I felt like I had been in a tug of war with a monster. But I did figure out an easier way to sew the rows together after about 3 rows.. I really enjoyed it after I finished it and it all came together like I wanted it to. :o)

omack -- not sure how much it weighs. and the orange parts aren't raw edges the flaps of the circle are folded over then sewn.
Thanks again for the nice compliments.
