Remember the blue and white star block exchange? I joined and I tried out a bunch of patterns trying to decide what to do. I settled on the paper pieced (center and corner squares)....but life got in the way and I was unable to complete a set of 12 on time so I had to drop out. (Good news-FIL is out of hospital and living back home).

I put the stars way and figured they could be used some day.....

We have a wonderful family that lives near us and thier oldest daughter was married in June. Her wedding colors--blue and white. Her wedding flowers--hydrangeas. That was fabric I had in my stash--in fact all of it was except the backing. How perfect is that?

It will go in the mail after I finish the label.

Beautiful.
See when things go wrong there is a reason we just need to wait on God to show us.
