I am a hand stitcher but had a great deal to have it longarmed so I gave it a shot. I love it. I can never have enough red/black and white. Just love them. I wish I could find this pattern again. I cannot remember the name. It was in a quilting mag. Should have kept it out. Anyone knows, let me know. Thank you.

I have a lot of black and white that I haven't known what to do with. Thought of adding a little red to it. Maybe I need to add a LOT of red to it.

NP3 you can add any one color to white and black and it is so nice. I ahve done one with yellows too. Not this pattern. Of course I have plenty of red fabric here. ..snicker....

Thank you Sadie Mae.

The star blocks look like a pattern that was in a Fons and Porter magazine. Does that sound right to you? I'll look at my old issues to see if I can find it. I love your red and black version, it's so lively and dramatic!
