    Boom Winter group quilt done

This is the quilt from Boom 6(?) Winter group. I also made 6 placemats from some of the blocks and I have a few more blocks to make a table runner.

Wow, what a gorgeous color of red. It really sets off the blocks. Great job! Peggy

I really like your quilt and the fabrics make it so warm and inviting - the placemats are great - what size are they?

    The placemats are 12 x 18. I didn't use a pattern.

Lovely!! I like how they look so nice without any sashings! I have mine to make from the Spring boom swap and now I can see how they will look. Great job on the placemats, too.

BOOM sounds much better than BOM IMHO, and that is a gorgeous quilt.

I really like the placemats. Setting the blocks to the side makes them so much more interesting.

Great job! It's great to see the Boom blocks put to good use, I think I see mine middle bottom row I thought these blocks would need sashing but your quilt looks really good without it.

You sure did get a lotta bang for your buck with this fabric! I love the quilt and color choices and further love the idea that you had enough to make two additional projects. Thanks for sharing.
