Here's 3 more finished and ready to be sent home:

NanaKathy55 sent in the barn red with gold stars. She is looking for Americana...hope this fits.

Twinriversfarm just asked to use the colors in her floral fabric....I think it makes the black really pop.

Urgodschild2 asked for just white to be used with her wild Aussie fabric. My Dad was in love with this block when it was finished so I passed his QC test.

More to come later in the week...see y'all then

Thanks for the link to the one but when I saw "Paper Piecing" I cringed! I just cant get the hang of it yet...but I have seen that corner block made without paper piecing so I might try that technique. I love it!!! Its funny because it looks like several of us had the same idea about Twins fabric and added blue to it! I also think it makes it POP!

TheMamaHauser sent the batik and asked for plain black or plain white or both. Hoping she likes how this turned out.

Still a little crickety in my back so it's slow going -- leaning over and cutting isn't my "friend" right now. Don't lose hope, more (lots more, lol) are to come in the next few months.

Nice work. I need to make Mamahauser's block soon, I have had a mental block on what to do with her fabric, feeling a little bit uninspired. But seeing yours has helped, I think simple works for her fabric. Thanks

Okie dokie -- got 3 done this weekend between laundry and all the other fun stuff. Since Hubby is only home on weekends I really like to spend the time with him

ljdugas31 sent the black batik and asked for a plain bright color to be used with it. Well, I cut my first pieces wrong and had to improvise. This is what I came up with from 8 strips cut wrong. Think it almost looks like framed glass so Dad said it "worked out just fine". It wasn't a matter of measure twice and cut once..it was a matter of multiply correctly to come up with what you need..duh.

oldcatlady had the faded gray with swirly design fabric. I love pink with gray so it was great that she asked for grays, whites or light pinks to be used with her fabric. Can't wait to see all of her blocks together at the end.

travelinggramma had a solid black and asked for bright cheery colors. She mentioned she had liked an Amish style top so I tried to come up with a simple yet pleasingly bright block. It was paper pieced so it really wasn't as simple as I thought it would be when I picked out the pattern.

More to come next week so come on back and sit a spell

Two for tomorrow to be mailed out

Joanelizbay sent the sunny yellow with floral swirlies. She asked for white or white on white on white with highlights of the bright yellow. Hope she likes the sunshine effect.

Abby's Mom sent what she called "plain boring black" and asked for a large floral...well this was the largest floral in my stash and dang it looked sharp to me and Dad.
