I think it calls for the extra borders - it will look unfinished and less spectacular if you leave them off. The olive green would look fine as the next one.

I like picture one.. right side...so I go with no border.. Looks great just like that.in my humble opinion.

WHAT A GREAT QUILT! i like borders because IF anyone should want to rebind..and many a binding is just cut off .. the person willnot be cutting into the quilt's main design.
