I would use a smaller dark blue border then a larger one in one of the other intense colors on the out side.

I would do three solid colored borders each about 2 1/2 inches and put a different colored square in the corners. I would start with that red and use blue or green squares for the corners. Then maybe yellow with purple squares, and lastly a blue border with orange squares.

I think a dark blue border would be nice. Then piece together a binding made up out of all the fabrics in the quilt!

I would not use a border. Just put on a solid-color binding.

I also think a marble or tone on tone would be best...how about 1 1/2 inch inner border of the dark turquois and then an outer border of the aqua? Beautiful quilt though and the colors are fabulous.

Beautiful job!

How about a solid WHITE border with multicolored binding??
Me too, I'd suggest a white border.

I agree...the rainbow effect of the binding would look great. Let us know what you decide.

I would maybe go with a black thin boarder and maybe find some fabric with rainbows on it and then make a thicker boarder to go around the quilt. and have that as the backing? and then use a black as a binding. but that is just me. i like to have quilts that look like pictures framed nicely. that is why if i don't put on a boarder i will put on a very thick binding.
