just completed this top for a baby quilt for my great nephew due in about one month. need some suggestions for the borders.

the top

border option 1

Love the quilt!! What if you did border option 2 (the narrow blue border) and border option 3...putting the pretty red print next to that followed by the yellow print outer border? OR Border option 3 and then either put the narrow blue border as the last border and binding or just bind with the blue. I think having both the red and blue used as part of the border would look really nice.

thanks for the input everyone. i really liked using the blue also. nice idea karenm36 to use all three. looks like i need the blue in the border. will now have to make final decision. but, lunch first. lol

Looking forward to seeing it all finished! Just found out that our Grandbaby #2 is on the way...I need to start getting ideas and I really like yours!
