It is Alexander Henry Day of the Dead line.

I have this on the bolt along with the others in the collection. It is from a couple years ago, so I dont know how much is still out there.

If you would like some of it, just send me a PM

I am going to make it again and hope to come up with a better way to put the zipper in.. so I will when I get a better way figured out.

I will take pics of the tuck and post...

Nena: I have both the larger and smaller patterns, and have been dragging my feet in starting one. I've read through the instructions a couple times, and put it back in the envelope both times!!! I even have fabric picked out!!
Let's take the plunge together. I know you can do it!! And so can I!!
This pattern really is very easy. I got hung up on the front pocket. (Seems alot of board members did) Once I got past that and learned how to do boxed corners it was a piece of cake. There is a tutorial someone put up to help with the front pocket and the rest of it. Do what I did, ask questions. Members are more then willing to help both of you. Get that pattern and fabric out and get started. Once you make one you will see how easy it is. I'm now on my 10th one.
The front pocket was my downfall too. I finally figured out that the instructions say to "Fold" the pocket, not "and sew". I kept sewing it shut and couldn't figure out how I was going to get it right side out again! My duh moment!

Pgthom,
Ok but remember this was your idea. LOL I will have to wait until next week because I am a helper this week, running everyone to doctors appt's.
But I will if you will,
I am so bad at reading a pattern, but if I watch someone do it one time then I can do it.
Ok I need a chill pill about right now!

You should at least do one before the end of the year. That way you can make a New Year's resolution to try something out of your comfort zone. I would love to try this pattern only haven't gotten around to buying one. Just finished a holiday table runner and a Christmas wall hanging (will post pics soon).

Someone on here did a tutorial and did a very good job of it. If you look at it as you go and read the pattern too you can get it. I did and as you can see lots of others have also. This bag will be perfect for your daughter, and it is so cute. Mary
