    He did a lot of photos in Appalachia,and I love his work.

    Beautiful photo's...I remember a few years ago...well 1994 I think, going to the Perth Art Gallery to see Annie Liebovitz and Dorothea Lange exhibits. Haven't heard of Earl Palmer, but now you've got me interested. Dorothea Lange photographed people during the Depression....very powerful images. Will never forget them. Thanks for sharing these with us. Those quilts are amazing.

    I LOVE the history side of our craft!

    If you go to the Library of Congress site there are many photos there as well.
