Great Bag! I, too, bought the Tote kit, fabric is called Cheep Talk. Haven't started it yet. Yours came out really cute!

Is the bow tuck purse easy to make for a beginner, as I have never made any purses?

It was the first purse I ever made it is easy, just follow the directions one step at a time. They are addictive to make, I have done 4 so far and have orders for 3 more.

I made the smaller one for my sister. Forgot to take a picture before I sent it off. The pattern calls for a fusible batting that is rather expensive, so I just used left over batting and spray basted it. Worked like a charm. I managed to get one of the inside panels upside down, but was able to make the change, and it turned out quit nice. Now to get around to making one for myself.

That's a great idea about the batting. The fusible is expensive. I'm going to try regular batting next time.
