Can't wait to see material! We haven't been back since we cleared our house after Katrina. My husband is from there. I'd love to get unique material. We have actually been talking about taking a trip back but we haven't made it yet. Can you share the names of the shops, too? My mil had a quilt shop there many years ago.

We had a great time together and a couple great meals too! We went to 'Sew This' in Abita Springs, 'Bright Hopes' in Mandeville and 'Moma's Quilt shop' in Hammond. Bigsis also snuck in another shop in New Orleans....

My hubby said he'd take me to the shops and he would sample the beer -Abita Amber Beer is one of his favorites- while I'm there! Thanks for the names!
