    Boy quilts in use

I tried posting pics from my camera and will try again, but here's one from my phone of my grandboys and their quilts. They are fish fabric and made to remember a family vacation this summer. I'm keeping these for car trips and naps.

Yes - the green blanket one has a black eye! Playground - running around corner - girl with head down - him with head up - BAM!

Thanks - I learned a lot making these:
If you see a pattern you like - buy it- recreating it may not be as simple as it seems.
    I CAN applique! Who knew?
Stop working on a project that is driving you crazy. Put it in Time Out and revisit it later. In this case - a couple of months later. The green backing one just wouldn't quilt without puckers. When I pulled it out again - and ripped out a few rows - it came out just fine.
So many quilts, so little time.

Cute pic. Looks like the boys are enjoying their quilts. Got a chuckle out of the black eye story. Sounds just like my grandson at that age. I remember one trip to the ER when he and another little boy were trading stories about how they got their injuries. What is it about little boys?
