    Default BQ3 guitar quilt finished
    A dear friend of mine asked if I would help her make quilts for each of her sons who are graduating this year--high school and college. She just finished up the 2nd quilt the other day for the 'musician' son and it turned out great! This is the BQ3 (lap size) pattern from Maple Island quilts which went together very fast and easy. We've been getting out the wine to celebrate right before she puts in that very last stitch! Always a great feeling. I'm also including the picture of the very first quilt (Warm Wishes lap pattern) she made which is for her 'outdoorsy' son.

    Very nice quilts! I have a nephew who loves music, so was especially interested to see the first quilt. It's definitely food for thought!
