Hi everyone, I posted a pattern that I'd designed in EQ a while ago and there was quite a lot of interest so I decided to work it up as a pattern that will be available to buy in a few weeks time. It will include regular piecing, foundation paper piecing and applique and finishes at 48" x 48". Here's the thread where I posted the original design which was later modified http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-105642-1.htm - the final version, version 13, happened to be posted on page 13 of the thread and the pattern uses 12 fabrics on the front plus the backing makes 13, hence the name! The Fandango came from a bright spark claiming they could see 'fangs' in one of the versions!

I have yet to design the applique for the plain black sections, it will be similar to the picture but more curvy to echo the shapes in the piecing. At this stage, I've pieced the blocks into four sections to make the applique easier to put on. The fabircs are richer in real life, it's dark in here at the moment! :-D

Version 13 - the final version!
