Hi Everyone,
A couple days ago I posted my spool flowers window valance pictures and in it you could see just a bit of a dresdan plate quilt on the wall next to it. I was asked my several people to post a picture. So here it is. :-) The dresdan plate has satin stitching around it because i used raw edge applique to do it. I also used minkee for the center.

its beautiful and so is your quilting. I love the satin stitching, is it silk?

Now that's the way to do dresden plate. I could never have the patience to do the hand applique style, but this way! Yea!!! I love your colors. Hmmmmm......another idea for the future.....
