Thank you for sharing your story, it is sad, but your kindness if making this beautiful quilt for her makes me smile, your awesome! I know it will put a smile on her face, you both are so blessed to have met each other.

I have six butterfly blocks that look a lot like yours in the picture. They were made by my grandmother, who passed away about 65 years ago. I've been planning to put them in a quilt or wall hanging, but not sure what to use with them, so havn't done anything yet.

Holding you, she and your guild close in my heart. And of course all the military that are serving for us, wherever they are! All of you are doing such wonderful things and I know you are being blessed here and now, as well as forever for your efforts. It seems so unfair that your friend is being hit yet again with illness and suffering. Help her keep a positive attitude and let her know so many of us are in her corner. Your lovely quilt will surely wrap her in love and comfort. Hugsssssss

What a beautiful quilt and for a beautiful person who was doing so much for our soldiers overseas. I'm sure she will love it.
