Happy as a lark, you'd never guess that I found this up in one of the boxes up in my closet ( of course I knew it was there ). It's the double wedding ring quilt I started about 10 years ago and there is plenty of background fabric and maybe enough for the backing. I have enough arches cut to make a small quilt!!!! These are big blocks too! So after I get my lone star done I will work on this one, but will have to reread the instructions and such. I remember not having enough of one of the colors and I do have the lavender color and the other dark print for the little corner stones for the arches and I think there ris enough for a small quilt. Sooo one of these day after I get my lone star done, I will have myself a double wedding ring. Gorgious quilt blocks I have there. I can't beleive those pins did not rust. Wow, now I can't wait to see what is in the last box! I did find a bag of scrap batting that I can use for stuffing other craft items. Enjoy, Huggies, Fay

Oh man, when I first opened this I thought it was Mr. Spock! LOL
Great find, I found one in the back of my closet along with a Sun Bonnet Sue that were completely pieced, finished tops. I have no idea when or where I got them. Probably at an auction or garage sale when I was operating on a very low blood supply. I don't have much memory of those times.

If you put out a request for the fabric(s) you are short on, someone here may have some of it for you.

Will be so pretty when completed. I have 2 DWR's in progress. Better get busy as two of my grandchildren just graduated high school--never know when they might meet someone and get married--yikes.

I also found my quilt lables and there were two of them so I can stitch those to those quilts when I get them done. I also have a drunkard's path that I have strared also and flag quilt that I was handquilting on. Don't know when I'll ever get that one done. I applique'd the arches to the blocks on this quilt, but I don't remember if I used a heat and bond or some thing of the sort on it. I do know I did use a small zig zag to sew them with. I might have enough for at least 10 to 12 blocks and the pattern is 12 blocks. I have these 6 blocks done and have four other blocks cut out so that is 10 blocks and I might just make it that size and add a nice boarder to it. I also found a few other things like white and yellow grossgrain ribbon that I can use to finish two oven door dresses with. and I found my leather purse that I started, but only found half of it. I haven't done leather craft in years. Well it is fun going through boxes and not know excatly what is in them, but have a idea. I'm glad I did go through those boxes as I also found the rest of the legs for my q-snap frame and those parts tilt the frame so I can stitch while sitting in my chair and I'de be able to watch tv while stitching. Every one enjoy your day, Huggies, Fay
