Great quilt block. For inspiration, I have printed pics of a few quilts made with this block pattern. I want to make a quilt using the pattern....SOMEDAY!!!

Very nice! I'm working on a Buzz Saw too. It's at the quilters right now. I made it out of oriental print fabrics. You can see it here: http://fabricribbonandyarn.blogspot....-quilting.html

A fast and easy way to make a Buzz Saw Block:
1. Cut big squares of high contrast fabrics.
2. Wrong sides together, make HSTs - you'll end up with 2.
3. Press toward darker fabric.
4. Cut 4 or 5 equal width strips. Number them 1-4 or 1-5
5. Realign them from ascending order to descending order. Sew 1/4 inch seams. Now you have a Buzz Saw Block.

Many possible variations. Keep the same light fabric, but use scraps for the darker contrast. Or, use scrap lights and scrap darks.

Many lay-out variations - similar to log cabins, but MUCH faster.
