We had Depot Days this past weekend in Newbern, TN. I set up a booth this year with quilting and fried pies. Gave out a lot of business cards and seemed to have good interest in my quilting, and sold ALL of the fried apple and peach pies. Next year though, planning on having a canopy top over the table....too hot in the afternoon. Other than that - great day!

Those Fried Pies make my mouth water. Haven't had any good ones since Mama made some before she got sick. A long time now. I wish my part of Tennessee was closer to your part. I would have bought all your pies. (leave out the cinnamon, though... can't eat that.)

I hope the wind is blowing the next time and blows the smell of the pies toward my part of TN.

Yep, a shade cover would have been great.

Looks like you had some nice quilts and the pies do look good too.

I've not yet been to the "South" and had not heard of fried pies.
Oh yes, your quilts look great also.
