Here goes for the label:

Sleepytime Story quilt
Handmade with Love for
Our very first grandbaby
by your _________
2011

Okay - next dilemma. I have been waiting FOREVER to be a grandma, and I have been tossing around what I want to be called......... grandma, gramma, grammy, grammie, (not nana or granny). I want to have my own name, so they don't have to put my last name on it every time they say it.

Any ideas??? I'm leaning towards Grammy. I'm open!!!

What do you think?..... The baby's not due until Nov. 2st.
I would label it, "from the first moment I knew about you, I loved you."

Congratulations and welcome to the Grandparents Club. I vote that you give her the gifts for Mothers Day with the agreement to give it to you to add the information after peanut is born. And, again, CONGRATULATIONS

You know a baby can never have to many quilts or books. Go ahead and put the label on the quilt even without the name of the baby. Istead of a name put something like for the my first grandbaby. There will always be time for another quilt later with the name. As for the book you could write something about not being able to wait to meet your first grandchild and have the chance to hold him or her while you read it. I am not so good with words (explains why I decided to become an accountant).
