Such a cute quilt. We can tell your excited but speaking from experience I think I would wait. Now that is just my own personnel opinion since you asked. After all these are early days.

I'd call this "The First Baby Quilt" and have it ready to wrap him/her in to come home from the hospital. Then when you know the gender, you can make a pink/purple with ruffled edges or a boy quilt.... or 3, 4, 5, 6 or more! Grands are SOOOOO much fun to make quilts for!!!!!
