I did not have a pattern, just looked at other trees that people had done and sewed my squares in the shape of the tree including background squares. First row has one print square, then there are two rows with three print squares, then three rows with five print squares, then two rows with seven print squares, two rows with nine print squares, and one row with eleven print squares. For the trunk it is one print square, and the next row has three print squares. Hope that makes sense.

YES, I love these twister quilts. You did a great job and Christmas things can always use a little bling. Sparkle adds a lot.
