Very cute. Did you do the embroidery after the quilting or before? Also, approx. what size did you make them?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - yes - I hooped the fabric first and embroidered, using the font size "large" on my Brother Quattro. Then, I cut the front, back, and batting to 9 1/2 by 5 1/2. I quilted the front to the batting, using 1" grid lines. Narrowly trim, cleaning up the edges. Sew the (3") elastic ties onto the quilted front. Take the quilted front and backing, sew right sides together, 1/2" all the way around, leaving a 3" opening. Trim corners. Turn, use a pointer to get the corners out. Sew 1/8" all the way around, closing up the hole. Sew on the buttons, (through all 3 layers), and you have a nice little 4 1/2" by 8 1/2" cozy.

Yes, I hooped a large piece of fabric, and embroidered it first.

The finished size is 4 1/2" by 8 1/2". See above for more instructions. Hope this helps!
