    Cardinals

    I had some muslin and was making this,,,it was strtchy and it came out kinda wonky so I put binding on and covered the points to make it all look better,,, Glad I didnt cut a lot as it was not a good quality muslin..at least I saved this one LOL!

    Really pretty! Cardinals were my mother's favorite, and this makes me think of her.

    The buttons really make it pop. I love your fussy cut idea. I want to make a cathedral window quilt someday, but it may just end up as a pillow top. I have been in awe of these since I saw a huge one at the Pacific International Quilt Festival a few years ago.

    Your cardinals are gorgeous! They stand out beautifully in this pattern. Too bad your muslin wasn't so great - with so much effort you want the end product to be worthy!
