This is one of those stunning quilts. More than stunning IMHO. It should be shown just like you said. Absolutely beautiful. Exceptional quilting work on this vibrant pattern makes it sing.

Gorgeous! And I agree about the hanging tab idea - that back needs to be seen.

Truly a work of art... on both sides. If I may ask, what do you use to mark your FMQ lines? Just gorgeous IMHO!

Thanks!

I hate marking so try to do as little as possible. When I have a motif that repeats, like the feather in the outer parallelograms in this quilt I used a flexible curve ruler like this http://www.amazon.com/Staedtler-24-I.../dp/B0006IK3LM I bend it into the shape I need to repeat, which in this case was the spine of the feather and the top arc for the swirl. I actually formed the arc around one of my circle templates. In some instances I will draw out a template on watercolor paper or card stock and cut it out. That works well too. Then I will use either a water soluble blue marker like Mark-b-gone pen for the light colors or my fons and porter white ceramic mechanical pencil on the dark color and mark that single line. I have also used white chalk like a clover chalko liner or this product but only the white, http://www.amazon.com/Bohin-Mechanic...l+chalk+pencil I have heard horror stories of the other colors not coming out so never use them. On occasion I have also used the purple air erase pen. By far my most favorite marking tool is the Blue Mark-B-Gone pens.
