I made this cat wall hanging for a coworker who's cat died.

Oh that's so sweet. I"m sure it will be appreciated. I lost my cat of 17 years and a friend in Australia sent me a Redwork block of a girl holding cats. A year later we took in a mama cat and her two kittens. I got out the quilt top I'd been working on in honor of my Loki, but never could finish. I finished it and emailed my friend to ask her how in the world she knew I'd have 3 cats?? the redwork block had a lady holding 3 cats!!!

That is so cute and such a nice gift. Our cat, Stuart Little (he was pure white with pink ears and nose) died and my DH has missed him so much. I am going to make one of these with a dark background and the cat in white. I think I have that same fabric for a border (or did I use it all on those porch pillows last summer.)
