Awesome quilts!! The first is my favorite too. I want to try that! When you said stitch around the edges, did you really mean just stich two sides?

clem I stitch all four sides. Then, cut the unit in half on the diagonal. Without moving it, cut it on the other diagonal, leaving you with four folded triangles. When you open them, you should have four squares with the intersecting angles.
