Default cathedral windows - another way to finish?

Hello all!

Winter has arrived in my capital! Snow is everywhere, and I'm not a fan LOL

I did 12 squares of cathedral windows about a year ago, and then got tired of doing them.

Because I donate all my quilts for Christmas time, I had to get them all done, so today, I tacked the cathedral windows. I finally sewed all of them together, did the edges, and now am wondering if there is a different way to finish off the middle?

Do I have to make more windows, or does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Marion

Very pretty and I like the black between the colour to separate them!

Tartan, but how would finish them? There are triangles sticking up LOL Just sew them down with nothing in the middle?

I would add more windows. I'm the type of person that if I take shortcuts, it would bug me for ever. Love it though. This is one my list of quilts to do.

I'm not keeping it, it is being donated to a charity for christmas ... so it won't bug me if I take a short cut LOL

To answer your question, I would see them down and leave it black. It gives it a break and won't be to busy.
That's just my opinion. I do like what you did, it's beautiful.

How would you add more quilting to middle! The sewing of the CW is usually enough......just bind the edges and donate..,btw. It is very striking with the black!
