I cut 1" strips of fabric on the bias, folded them in half and sewed them lengthwise. Using a small plastic tool that was about 1/4" wide, I inserted it into the fabric sleeve and ironed the strips hiding the seam on the back. I used double sided 1/4" wide fusible to hold the strips onto the fabric until it was sewn down.

The Celtic design was traced onto the black fabric using tracing paper.

think both of them would look wonderful in my house! LOL! Seriously, how did you do the Celtic designs by machine? I can't even image doing them by hand, much less working on the machine with them. Outstanding quilts.

Wow! That celtic quilt.....just wow, it has taken my speech away! Love, love, love the fabric combinations!
The leaf quilt is also gorgeous!
