    Here is the completed center of the winter wonderland snowmen. I still have to do a fly stitch around the blocks.

    I love that pattern. Purple instead of red or blue really makes it special. Show us again when it's finished.

    How sweet!!! I am doing mine in red but now I kinda wish I would have gambled on the turquoise I wanted to do....hhhmmm (nope once is enough!)The purple is wonderful. Are you going to do the quilting sqares also? How long has the hand embroidery taken you?

    Thank you, I think the turquoise would have been awesome!!! May have to try it, I will be doing this one again. I am also doing the squares as well. Hope to enter this in our fair next year???
    Well as you can see my fly stitch isn't so great.

    The embroidery took me about a month.

    I guess you could leave it out but I think it pops it out alot??

    I just went back and looked at it with and without and your right it does make it pop out a lot....

    Very, very cute - the purple is unexpected but really pretty. I love your background fabric. I bought a pattern from Birdbrain Design and intended to embroider it on plain white but seeing your great background fabric may make me change my mind. Thanks for sharing!
