I pieced this OBW over 2 months ago but couldn't decide what to do in the borders. Finally decided on a big meander but in a very bright variegated Superior King Tut to match the cubes - the colours of it are very defined but dont think it shows up in the photo but the colours of the thread are very visible "in the flesh".
The cubes are SID with Bottom Line, and the black and white blocks also quilted with it, so as not to detract from the cubes. It measures 54"x33" and will hang on one of the stone walls.

Wow, you did a beautiful job on quilting your masterpiece. I haven't ordered the books yet as per your suggestion, but will...maybe santa will bring them to me...Thanks for posting the fabric you used was going to pm you for a pic...now to go shopping for some...yes putting the cart before the horse hehehe...don't have the book, but maybe if I buy the fabric first that will spur me on....suppose to be on a no buy right now....
