Default Satin Quilt Finished!...quilted by Kevin

Kevin finished the satin "beast" last Friday, and we've finally got pictures to post for you to see. I think it turned out really nice.

    Thanks for looking!

P.S. Kevin says that "beast" is just a nickname...actually he found the satin very easy to quilt through.

Tell Kevin he's a quilting rock star!!! Does he mark his feather spines for uniformity or just "go for it?"

No marking...he just does free motion for the feathers....does use rulers though for any stitch in the ditch.

Wow, that is a great job!!!! I would have thought satin would be awful to work on. But you made it look easy. Thanks for the pix.

It's lovely and the satin really shows off the quilting!
